Why Highpoint?
At Highpoint Financial, we help individuals and families define their highpoint, build a plan to pursue it, and keep you moving forward with clarity. That’s why we do not believe planning should begin with products, projections, or assumptions. We start with a conversation to define your highpoint. Your highpoint might be retiring with purpose. It might be selling a business and deciding what comes next. It might be growing your wealth, supporting your family, giving with intention, or helping the next generation step into the future with more direction. Whatever it looks like, we believe the right financial plan starts by defining “What’s your highpoint?”
Highpoint serves those who have a higher vision for themselves, their family, and their future.
If you are not just trying to “do well” but rather trying to live intentionally, we may be a great fit. Our clients fall into two core groups that share this common thread. They value advice, partnership, and honest communication. They’re ready to trust and want to delegate the financial complexity but stay involved in the conversations that shape their plan. Where do you fit?
I’m Building a Legacy
I’m Building Wealth
pre-retiree, retiree
Approaching retirement and wondering, “Am I going to be okay?” You may also be asking what am I retiring to, how do I want to spend my time, and what do I want this next chapter to mean. You’re ready for guidance and to define your next highpoint.
Wealth in motion
Building wealth, growing careers and family, running businesses, receiving an inheritance, or navigating a major financial change? Your income, assets, and financial complexity may have grown faster than your plan, and you are ready to stop winging it and get a clear view.
The Highpoint Experience
Our process is designed to bring clarity to the moments when financial decisions start carrying more weight. We help you define your highpoint and build a clear plan to pursue it.
1. Define Your Highpoint
Before strategy begins, we get clear on what matters most to you. We talk through your life stage, priorities, family responsibilities, values, concerns, and the vision you have for what comes next. Many skip this step and jump straight into investments, tax decisions, or retirement projections. But a plan that is built before the destination is clear can miss the life it is meant to support. We start by defining the highpoint so every financial decision has direction.
2. Build Your Highpoint Roadmap
Once we know what you are building toward, we create a coordinated roadmap. This is where we connect the numbers to real life: investments, tax strategy, retirement planning, insurance, estate coordination, charitable giving, timing, tradeoffs, and next steps. Our goal is to help you see how the pieces work together, what needs attention, and where coordinated planning can make a meaningful difference.
3. Live It. Then Go Higher.
Reaching one milestone is rarely the end. Retirement, a business sale, family changes, inheritance, giving goals, and next-generation planning can all bring new decisions and new highpoints. That is why our work is ongoing. We help you keep the conversation moving as life changes, so your plan can continue to support what matters now and what may come next.
Defining your highpoint based on 7 key wealth management issues:
RETIREMENT INCOME PLANNING
Ensuring you can confidently transition from earning income to living off your assets— without running out of money—while maintaining your desired work-optional lifestyle.
INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT
Designing and managing your portfolio to align with your goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon—while balancing growth, income, and preservation.
FAMILY RISK PLANNING
Protecting your family and assets from unexpected events that could disrupt your financial plan.
LEGACY PLANNING
Structuring how your wealth, values, and intentions are transferred to family and causes—during life and after death.
EDUCATION PLANNING
Preparing for current or future education expenses in a way that balances opportunity, tax efficiency, and overall family priorities.
CASH FLOW & DEBT MANAGEMENT
Managing income, spending, savings, and debt to create flexibility, stability, and alignment with long-term goals.
SPECIAL SITUATIONS
Planning for complex, infrequent, or high-impact financial events that require tailored strategies.
